Revalidation

In preparation for Revalidation, UWS is jointly hosting workshops on Revalidation with Glasgow Caledonian University and University of Glasgow. The workshops will be facilitated by John Lee from University of Dundee (one of the pilot sites for Revalidation and the only HEI pilot participant in Scotland).

The workshop will provide an overview of Revalidation, its purpose and what it means for registrants. In particular these workshops will provide an opportunity for academic staff to share their thoughts on what Revalidation means and ask questions about how the process will be taken forward.

All nurse /midwife registrants are warmly invited to attend any one of the sessions at any venue as these are available to all staff in each Institution. There is no need to book, a list of attendees will be recorded at each session.

Any nurse/midwife registrant working in UWS but not in the School of Health Nursing and Midwifery is encouraged to get in touch with robert.cowan@uws.ac.uk  to ensure they are supported through the process of revalidation.
