Recent Appointments

Appointment of new Lecturer Clare McGuire on 1st July 2015 whom we welcome to the community programmes team. Previously a Health Visitor with a long clinical career within NHSL and with a particular interest in asylum and refugee care. Latterly, Clare has been responsible for managing the Leading Better Care programme which is a joint project between UWS and NHSL. Clare’s experience will be extremely valuable to the Maternal Child & Family Health Subject group.

Appointment and commencement of new Midwifery Lecturer Sheona Brown whom we welcome to the team. Previously a clinical consultant midwife with a long clinical career within GGC and responsible for the development of midwifery telemedicine teaching and learning resources, Sheona brings a wealth of clinical experience and new ideas to the team.
