As part of the Scottish Government’s national conversation on the long-term future of health and social care services in Scotland, Shona Robison MSP (Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport) will visit UWS Paisley Campus on Monday 30th. November 2015.

Supported by the Student Association of UWS (SAUWS) UWS and Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland, the purpose of the Cabinet Secretary’s visit is to seek student views on how the Scottish Government can help everyone living in Scotland lead healthier lives and how health and social care services can be made more responsive to our needs.

The event will take place on Monday 30 November 2015, 9.30am–12.00noon, Brough Hall, UWS Paisley Campus.

All UWS students have been contacted inviting them to register to attend, regardless of study discipline, or level of study. It would be really good to see students from this school, full-time, part time and online if it is possible coming to contribute to this important event. Students have been asked to register on Eventbrite by the closing date which is Wednesday 25th November. Transport will be provided to and from Paisley from UWS Ayr, Dumfries and Hamilton campuses for students registered to attend.

All school staff are encouraged to alert their students to this opportunity, which will be of direct relevance to many programmes across the University, and asked to accommodate, where possible, all students’ requests to attend this event.
