This event will now be attended by Jamie Hepburn MSP (Minister for Sport, Health Improvement & Mental Health) on the afternoon of Monday 30 November.
Supported by SAUWS, UWS and Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland, the purpose of the Minister’s visit is to seek student views on how the Scottish Government can help everyone living in Scotland lead healthier lives and how health and social care services can be made more responsive to our needs.
The event will take place on Monday 30 November 2015, 12.30pm–approx. 4:00pm, Brough Hall, UWS Paisley Campus.
All our students have been contacted inviting them to register to attend, regardless of study discipline, or level of study. Students have been asked to register on Eventbrite by closing date of Wednesday 25th November. Transport will be provided to and from Paisley from UWS Ayr, Dumfries and Hamilton campuses for students registered to attend.
UWS academic colleagues are encouraged to alert their students to this opportunity, which will be of direct relevance to many programmes across the University, and have been asked to accommodate, where possible, students’ requests to attend.
