Keynote Speech at the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) Conference

karen WatchmanDr Karen Watchman, Senior Lecturer in Dementia and Depute Director of the Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice, Hamilton Campus has been invited to give a keynote presentation at Aston University, Birmingham on Friday 4th December. The International Ageing Well Research and Practice Conference focuses on growing older with a learning disability and Karen will be presenting about lessons for policy and practice from the lived experiences of people with a learning disability and dementia. The conference, organised by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) will explore recent national and international research and practice related to ageing and people with a learning disability and how these influence policy development and the provision of good support.
