Posted on Updated on

On Friday the Association of Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners attended UWS Paisley Campus for their AGM and Good Practice Forum. Sixty other Occupational Health Nurses from all over the UK, joined Marisa Stevenson, the programme leader for our Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Occupational Health) programme and a member of the Association Board to hear from Dr Alan Curley, who presented on ‘Motivational Techniques for encouraging Good Health behaviours’ and Drew McFadzean from the Business School (Director of Law) who presented on the famous case of the ‘Slug in a Bottle – Duty of Care’ Pictured above is Glyn Morris, who talked about “Psychological Interventions for Weight loss”

This is the first time this event has ever been hosted anywhere outside of London and the event received the support of the Dean of School, Karen Wilson. A very successful day which has evaluated well.
