The presentation, ‘Daring to be Different’,  addressed the work Ayrshire Maternity Unit does with vulnerable pregnant women and how they undertake a multi-agency approach in partnership with women/social services and maternity services to empower women and bring about sustainable change.

Elaine’s address also discussed how small changes by individuals can make a difference to outcomes for women and babies.  Elaine is also presenting at the prestigious International Triennial Congress of Midwives in Canada next year.
