Alison Starts a Blog!

Alison Bunce, one of our PhD students and the Compassionate Inverclyde Programme Lead who is based at Ardgowan Hospice secured the Florence Nightingale Foundation Travel Scholarship for 2016-2017 (see the Newsletter post dated OCTOBER 13, 2016 ).

She has now started a Blog in order to share her journey and experiences in Australia with others. She was awarded a travel scholarship to explore Compassionate Communities in Australia, India and London. You can access her blog at

As Alison says,

” I don’t confess to being a writer but I will jot down a few things each day so that there is a record. I am also going to share a bit about my work in leading Compassionate Inverclyde too.”
