Final Year Student’s Previously Loved Uniforms

Student Uniform

This is a reminder from Sheona Brown <Sheona.Brown@uws.ac.uk>, one of our midwifery lecturers at Hamilton to everyone completing that she is happy to collect all “previously loved” uniforms that are in good condition.

She will provide an opportunity for new and current students to purchase all donated “previously loved” uniforms for a small donation should they wish to have an extra tunic or trousers. She is happy to collect the uniforms from you (if you leave them with your personal tutor), or if you want, you can leave them for her at Room C3.21 in the Caird Building at Hamilton Campus. You can also leave them for her to collect at Room A4.16 on the Paisley Campus. She can take both tunics and trousers. If they have any uniforms that are not fit for reuse can you ask that they remove the identifying UWS badge by cutting it out and they place it in their nearest cloth recycling

If you are a final year student and have any uniforms that are not fit for reuse, can you remove the identifying UWS badge by cutting it out. Then place the unwanted uniform item in your nearest cloth recycling container. These can mainly be found in the councils recycling waste centres or sometimes at local primary schools.

Many thanks in advance for your co-operation with this small green venture.
