Great Results for @uwshealth in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2017-18.

At UWS, we’re committed to delivering an excellent student experience, so we’re over the moon to reveal that according to the latest National Student Survey (NSS) results, we are outperforming the Scottish Univerity average in student satisfaction with our overall rates increasing to 84.9% this year!. As a School we have some good results, with some huge improvements on last year and one of programmes scored 100% in student satisfaction- well done to UWS Undergraduate Midwifery on this achievement.

The Overall University position is as follows

  • Overall satisfaction at UWS was 84.9% in 2018 – 2.0 percentage points higher than in 2018 (when it was 82.9%).
  • Overall satisfaction was above our benchmark  and the Scottish average at 83%.
  • UWS achieved an improved score in every main category of the NSS compared to last year, with the biggest improvement was in Organisation and Management (Up 6.0 percentage points).
  • Compared to 2017, satisfaction increased in 24 out of 27 of the NSS questions, We remained the same in one question and decreased in the remaining two questions (by less than 1 percentage points).
